– Typology of dick graffiti collected in ten countries during ten years (2014 – 2023)
Side by side with initials, hearts, and faces, depictions of dicks should be the most common and original form of graffiti.
The selection in this collection spans a ten-year period of gathering, and the photos were taken in ten different countries. Wherever I’ve been, I’ve photographed and archived these primitive traces of human presence. And there is no shortage— in every neighborhood and continent, the depictions can be found. Everywhere, the phalluses rush forward, in an eternally ongoing ring dance.
